Firefighter Appreciation Luncheon

On Thursday, October 10th, Cheslatta Carrier Nation hosted an appreciation lunch in honour of all the firefighters who worked so hard this summer keeping our community safe. Cheslatta Nation extends its sincerest gratitude to BC Wildfire Service, Chinook Emergency Response Society, the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako, and all our own staff and community members who were working non-stop on the fires this year. A special thank you is extended to the Cheslatta members in the firefighting, forestry, barge, and camp crews who were on the front lines of these fires during the summer, as well as to our members who attended the appreciation lunch in honour of the firefighters.
